The safety of our community is our top priority. That is why we have established the following COVID-19 safety guidelines that all Rental Partners and Renters are required to follow.
All Rental Partners and Renters must wear a mask during pick up and drop off
Rental Partners and Renters must maintain social distancing when exchanging items in person
Rental Partners are required to clean and sanitize their items in between each rental
Do not rent out items or book rentals if you:
Are actively infected or tested positive with COVID-19 in the past 30 day
Suspect you may have been exposed to COVID-19, feeling sick or have symptoms of COVID-19
Are waiting to confirm COVID-19 test results
Had close contact with an individual who is confirmed or suspect to have COVID-19 within the last 14 days
If you are in a higher risk category (eg. with pre-existing medical conditions or people 65+), we recommend taking extra precautions when deciding to rent out or book items on Rentales.
Please also ensure you are following guidelines set out by the World Health Organization and local health authorities.
If you’re a Renter and you do you not comply with the COVID-19 Health & Safety Practices, you will not be eligible for a refund if the Rental Partner chooses to cancel your booking. Similarly, if you are a Rental Partner and a Renter cancels their booking because you did not comply with the COVID-19 Health & Safety practices, the Renter will be eligible for a refund on their booking. To protect the health and safety of our community, any Renters or Rental Partners who continually violate these guidelines will risk suspension or removal from the community.
If you tested positive for COVID-19, suspect you have COVID-19 or feel any COVID-19 symptoms during or after your rental, please remain in quarantine and contact us via our contact form. You should also inform your doctor and any necessary authorities.
